Polychrome Corporation, a brainchild of Mr. Halpern, is now a major part of Kodak Co. and continues to live on. But the small company spirit died on Jan 1. 1998 when the company became a part of DIC-Kodak joint venture. Founder Mr. Gregory Halpern

Founder Mr. Gregory Halpern
Legend has it that in 1935, Mr. Halpern borrowed $500 from his wife Freda to get Polychrome Corporation started. Freda also designed first Polychorme Logo with three palette knife representing the first product; color inks for mimeographic (stencill) printing.
