Al Wiering's contribution included a catalog for the Service Awards. From the logo style this is probably in the 80's. When we reached 5,10, 15, 20 and 25 years of service we were given opportunity to choose gift from this catalog. Judging from the fact I did not receive 5, 10 and 15 year gift this tradition must have started at that time. ( I was then past 15 years of service.)
See inside HERE to see what the choices were at your anniversary date.
Polychrome Corporation, a brainchild of Mr. Halpern, is now a major part of Kodak Co. and continues to live on. But the small company spirit died on Jan 1. 1998 when the company became a part of DIC-Kodak joint venture. This blog is dedicated to the memory of those who proudly call themselves "Polychromer". ..... Ken Shimazu shimazukenichi@gmail.com

Polychrome News (Sales Reports) Vol4 no.2
One of the Al Wierling's contribution was the"Polychrome News" (Sales Reports) Vol.4 no. 2.
This does not carry publishing dates bat judging from the contents... announcement of birth to Juan Ortizz, Jack Reeves, Bill Wilerson and Phil Paspalas... all in June 1981 (wow productive month!), this must have been printed in mid 1981.

Al Wierling and 1992 National Sales Meeting photo
Al Wierling (now in Florida) sent me a pack of valuable collection which I will upload one by one. Since he was in the sales department, he collection included sales department news letter which I did not have so far. So this was a very welcoming contribution. Thank you Al for the photos and newsletters. Here is Al in 1992 with Paul Reily, then president of Polychrome America and Mel Ettinger then president of Polychrome.
I scanned this group photo at higher resolution so that hopefully you could magnify it to see who is where. I recognized many familiar faces.
